Site Enhancements

June 28th, 2004 by Mark Rittman

One or two people have mentioned to me that it’s sometimes difficult to find
content on this site after it’s been published, so with this in mind I’ve
reworked some of the site navigation to make things easier to find. It’s work in
progress at the moment (so you might find a few broken links) but I’ve
introduced a few new pages which should make more of the content accessible.

The Articles page links to
more lengthy articles I’ve written grouped into categories such as Oracle OLAP,
Oracle data warehousing and Oracle 10g, whilst the
Oracle Resources page
links through to some of the more interesting articles and papers I’ve mentioned
in the blog. There’s now a books
page (modelled on

Joel Spolsky’s book reviews page
) that lists out those books that have been
most influential for me, and over the next few days I’ll be adding content to
the rest of the new pages. I’ve based the navigation on the Oracle
BLAF tab style (which was fun
when you’re not able to use JDeveloper and UIX to generate them), so hopefully
it’s got a familiar look and feel. Let me know
if you’ve got any feedback or ideas to improve things further.
