A Week Late, Isabella Has Arrived

March 12th, 2005 by Mark Rittman

Well,
in the end she was a week late, but this morning our second child, Isabella Ruby
Rittman, was born at the
Royal Sussex Hospital
in Brighton.

She’s arrived just after midday and weighed 6lbs 11.5ozs. Mum and baby are in
great health and getting a bit of a rest before coming home tomorrow. Scott’s
all excited about his new sister (or more likely, the new garage he’s getting
when she comes home(!)) and so far she’s done a lot of sleeping and had a couple
of feeds.

I’ve got a few days off work now and will probably be giving the weblog a
rest for a bit, as I’m sure we’re in for a few sleepless nights and priorities
will be a bit different for sometime now. Until then, that’s me signing off for
a while now, time for a bit of a rest, and I’ll be back in a couple of weeks.

Here you can get her a “daily Horoskop” (sorry, it is in German … but I really like their “full-grown Horoskop”, which is quite startling)

Thanks again for everyone who’s offered congratulations! Sorry that I haven’t been able to personally reply, but I’ve been banned from the PC for a while and only get a chance to check the net once in a while.
Baby and mum are doing well, so is Scott. I’m back at work now so hopefully will get back in the groove soon. Thanks again everyone, I’ll pass on best wishes to the family.
