Guess This Week’s Glamorous Location

I expect many of you think that the lifestyle of the travelling Oracle
consultant is a constant whirl of five star hotels, glamorous locations and
business class travel back and forth across the Atlantic. In fact it’s mostly
budget hotels, travel on the train in the evenings and staying overnight at such
wonderful destinations as Reading, Liverpool, Portsmouth and the mystery
location where I stayed last night. See if you can guess where I was - here’s
the view from my hotel room…

Yes, it’s Swindon. That’s the view out of the Swindon Thistle hotel, and what’s in the picture is Swindon Bus Station, as featured in the opening sequence for The Office…
