		<description>Was very interested to see your entry regarding the Opryland Hotel (what it used to be called before Gaylord put their name on it, and what the locals still call it.) All I can say is&#8230; you should see it at Christmas. The White House has nothing on it.
There used to be a theme park where the mall is now&#8230; Opryland! I spent a weekend there every summer. Ahh&#8230; memory lane&#8230;
Anyway&#8230; The Grand Ole Opry was a radio show performed at the Ryman Auditorium (some people actully call the Ryman &#8220;The Grand Ole Opry&#8221;&#8230; so don&#8217;t get confused.) Was famous in the country and western world for displaying new talent mixed with the all the greats.
