<description>This is great!!! thank so much for the write-up we know what to expect now.
since the underlying concept remains the same
(Eg:target db does the transformation no seperate ETL layer)
a)where does the sunopsis agent run? on the src or target?
b)Where does the Sunopsis repository need to reside?(src or target or can be any repository?)
c)s an eval download available?
d)do they handle versioning at all?
separating the what from the how in the ETL Process is pretty neat and really makes sense
the whole concept of leveraging the Warehouse to do the ETL as opposed to the ETL layer is good - but I have run into cases where Customers have an OLTP and a DataMart (the dataMart being used 24/7 for Reports and they preferred using the ETL layer mode, I am not sure how well OWB works in such cases)</description>
