A quick advert for some forthcoming Enterprise BI Seminars in Sweden, Hungary, Ireland and The Netherlands.

These events are being organized through Oracle University, and consist of eight sessions by myself on all that’s new in the world of Oracle BI & Data Warehousing. The focus is on deploying BI enterprise-wide using the new Oracle BI Suite Enterprise Edition Plus toolset, but we also cover what’s new with Warehouse Builder, Discoverer and Oracle 11g.

Some of the subjects covered by the seminar include:

• An update on the OBIEE Plus Toolset, including what’s new with Essbase and the Hyperion tools
• Data modeling, summarization and aggregation using Oracle BI Server
• How to make use of Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Warehouse Builder, in building the BI data model
• Integrating Oracle BIEE with OID, Oracle SSO, VPD and row-level security
• Some advanced dashboard techniques
• Integrating OBIEE and Oracle SOA Suite, including a preview of the EasyBI SOA Bridge
• Self-learning Predictive Models using Oracle Real-Time Decisions
• Migrating and Integration between Discoverer, Portal, OBIEE and Oracle BI Publisher

The seminar is all-new material and progresses on from the BI Masterclasses I ran for OU last year. They’re also a great opportunity for you to meet with other Oracle BI technologists and enthusiasts, and discuss what you’re doing over lunch and dinner.
