RSS Feeds

March 17th, 2008 by Peter Scott

As Mark mentioned in a comment to a posting, we run the Rittman Mead blog on Wordpress. The recent blog revamp may have upset some feed readers that used feed URLs that we no longer maintain.

Using Wordpress gives us many more potential feeds than we had before. In addition to the main feed http://www.rittmanmead.com/feed you can just append /feed to the end of the URL of any of the category or author links to the right of this posting to get, say, a feed of our OBI EE pieces or even just my postings. You can even add /feed to the end of a specific blog post URL to get a feed of any follow up comments.

Now back to the moving of my old technical posts from the old blog…

Wow… Haven’t been to the blog in a couple of weeks. I love the new template, the new logo and so on. Very clean. (I may have to “borrow” it!)

Mark, haven’t read through the article in it’s entirety, but notice you’re creating views to filter out the “negative” dimension keys created by OWB. I’ve always just gone into the logical table source for the dimension table and added a “where dimension_key > 0″ filter.

p.s. really like the new blog format!
