@Anand - When we talk about conforming dimensions, we always generally expect BI Server to join the dimensions. For example, when Dim1 is related to Fact1 and Dim2 is related to Fact2 and when we are treating Dim1 and Dim2 to be suppying data for a single BI EE dimension, the first criteria is Dim1 and Dim2 should not be related as otherwise BI Server will push the joins to the physical layer. In most cases, when we do not want the joins to be pushed to the physical layer(which will be an equi join) and when we want BI Server to make the joins we need to ensure that there is no relation between Dim1 and Dim2 (either directly or indirectly)

Hello Venkat,

This line is bit confusing...Can you kindly help me to undestand better.

"That is Dim1 should be related to Fact1 alone and Dim2 should be related to Fact2 alone. If there is any relation between Dim1 and Fact2 or vice-versa, BI Server would not treat them as conforming dimensions".

But confirmed dimensions are dimensions confirmed to user across mutilple facts rite..
then why OBIE is not treating..
