Hi Ravikanth

That's a fairly specific question to your implementation, and not something we can really answer, sorry. If it's not something the implementation team can address, you might be able to get an answer by raising an SR with Oracle Support.

regards, Mark

HI,

I have moved classic planning application using LCM to prod on Linux, Planning version 11.1.1.2. Everything is working fine except some members are not accepting numbers when user trying to enter plan data on data forms on planning application and Excel 2007 using smartview, its working on DEVL

User can delete any member, even though they are used on Dataforms. I cannot delete members if they are used in any Dataforms on DEVL.

Please help me on this, this has something to do with my migration.

Thanks

Hi Satish

Well the thing to bear in mind is that EPMA is Oracle's strategic direction for creating Planning (and other EPM) applications, so you should really use it whether you intend to create 1 or 100 applications. That said, no ETL tools currently support loading EPMA Planning applications, so if you intend to use ODI or Informatica, you'll still need to create them as Classic applications.

regards, Mark

Wow...excellent post.

Do you recommend using EPMA if its just one planning application?
