Hi,

I am facing an issue here. I am on 64 Bit Linux (Ubuntu 9.10) and managed to get teh Database and Repository installed just fine, but the Design Center shows me a blank screen after login in with my workspace user. Did you get the Design Center up and running?

Best Regards

Yes! Followed you last suggestion and it worked.
Thank you very much! Now I would like to play with OWB 11gr2 a bit.
If you happen to know some good free tutorials (besides the ones on the Oracle site) please do not hesitate to post them.

@Catalin:

Also... trying calling the Repository Assistant directly using $ORACLE_HOME/owb/bin/unix/reposinst.sh, instead of calling it indirectly through the OWB design client. That might solve your problem...

@Catalin:

Can you do the following in a SQL-Plus window:

spool owb_reseed.log
set echo on
@clean_owbsys
@cat_owb
@reset_owbcc_home
spool off

Then send me the log file.

Thanks.

@Catalin:

Could you send me the log file from $ORACLE_HOME/owb/UnifiedRepos to stewart.bryson@rittmanmead.com, and I'll take a look. In the meantime, if you have a Metalink account, I recommend you go ahead and open an SR while I investigate.

Of course,
I encounter the same error when creating an workspace with the Repository Assistant in Oracle 11gR2. I follow the steps you suggest:
1. @clean_owbsys
2. @cat_owb
3. @reset_owbcc_home
....but the error remains :(
I remind you that I am installing Oracle 11gR2 in OEL 5.3 (32 bit). Any help would be greatly apreciated!
Thank you!

@Catalin:

When you say the workaround doesn't work, can you elaborate on what you are seeing?

Unfortunatelly, I have exactly the same problem. But, the workaround you propose doesn't work for me :(. I am installing Oracle 11gR2 in OEL 5.3 (32 bit). Any help would be greatly apreciated!
