UKOUG and ODTUG BI Abstract Submissions Now Closing

A quick posting on two BI-related conferences that are currently accepting abstracts for presentations but due to close soon. The UK Oracle User Group is holding a Business Intelligence & Performance Management Special Event in London on March 18th, with keynote presentations and four breakout streams. If you're interested in putting a paper forward under either Business & Performance Management, Packaged BI Applications, BI Foundation (i.e. Discoverer, OBIEE, Essbase etc) or Data Warehousing and Analytics, you can submit an abstract at https://www.oracleuser.co.uk/reg/bookevent_abstract.shtm - the closing date for abstracts is technically today but I'm sure there'll be a few days leeway.

Another conference with a closing date of today is ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2008, which will be held in New Orleans in June next year. ODTUG is a general tools user group for all developers working with the Oracle platform, and traditionally there's been a very strong BI and data warehousing track at past events with speakers such as Jean-Pierre Djicks, Dan Vlamis, Mike Durran and myself. Again if you're interested, the abstract submission form is at http://odtugkaleidoscope.com/abstracts.html, hurry up though as the call for papers is closing soon.
