For those organizations looking to implement Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine, we have created a new OBIEE 11g course module aimed at Exalytics administrators and developers. EXALYTICS101 Oracle Exalytics Administration and the Summary Advisor covers the following topics, and has hands-on labs to practice your Exalytics administration:
- Exalytics Architecture and Theory
- Post-installation configuration
- Use of the Summary Advisor to creates aggregates in TimesTen
- Advanced deployment and configuration options
- Backup & Recovery
The course module typically takes between a half and a whole day to run, and can be combined with other OBIEE 11g course modules as required using our Custom Course Builder web page.
We will also be shortly releasing a second Exalytics training module, EXALYTICS102 Oracle Exalytics Dashboards and Analysis for End-Users, which will cover the creation of dashboards, analyses and reports using new features made available on this platform, with a particular emphasis on high-density, highly-interactive visualizations making full use of this “speed-of-thought” platform.
