Rittman Mead - Delivered Intelligence

Now in its third successful year, this three-day special training event will take delegates through the fundamentals behind the recently launched Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g. Running this year in London, UK in October 2010, and with additional events in Atlanta, GA and Bengaluru (Bangalore), India in November, this is a unique opportunity to learn OBIEE 11g from the Rittman Mead consulting team.

Rittman Mead have been beta testers for this new release, and are writing the Oracle Business Intelligence 11g Developers Guide for Oracle Press, due in 2011. In this intensive, three-day hands-on training session, delegates will be taken through this new release starting with installation and configuration, through developing of the metadata layer and to the production of reports, dashboards, alerts and scorecards.

Aimed at developers with some experience of business intelligence tools, and led by Rittman Mead consultants with many years of project experience with Oracle Business Intelligence, this event is a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the 11g release from the most experienced OBIEE implementation team in the world.

Hands-on Practice Opportunities (London and Atlanta)

At all of the events, delegates will be able to bring their own laptops and software and take part in hands-on labs during the training. Delegates will be responsible for providing suitable hardware and for downloading evaluation copies of OBIEE 11g and other related software prior to the event (a minimum specification will be provided to delegates before joining). Delegates will be free to take hard-copies of the labs home with them, together with the environment they build as part of the labs.

Note that unfortunately, due to logistical reasons, hands-on labs will not be available at the Bangalore, India event. However hard-copies of the labs together with sample data will be provided to delegates, who will be able to practice the techniques back in their office. Bangalore is now hands-on, too! Costs, and How to Book

The cost of the event is as follows:

• London, UK, October 25th-27th 2010 : £1000 + VAT
• Atlanta, GA, November 3rd-5th 2010 : $1500
• Bangalore, India, November 15th – 17th 2010 : Rs. 25,000 incl. taxes

Price includes refreshments and lunch during the day, special evening meal on Day 2, and learning materials to take away. Accommodation is not included and is the responsibility of the delegate.

The total number of delegates for each event is limited to 30 for London and Atlanta, and 50 for Bangalore, and please bear in mind that in previous years these events have sold out quickly.
