News on the Forthcoming UKOUG BIRT SIG in September
The next meeting of the UKOUG Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools SIG is taking place on 20th September 2005, at the Institute of Physics, London.
As usual there's an interesting line-up of speakers and presentations, including ones on Business Objects and Oracle, EPB version 2 and Oracle Warehouse Builder, plus a talk by Oracle's Pin Patel on how Oracle's BI&W products integrate together. The full line up for the day is as follows:
- Implementing the BI Sales Analytics module within the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tool, Theresa Gamman, Deloitte
- Integrating Business Objects with Oracle, Duncan Brown, iTrain Education
- The Ins and Outs Of OWB, Mark Clewett, Edenbrook
- EPB Version 2 Demo, Gary Billaild, InGroup
- Oracle Information Architecture, Pin Patel, Oracle
- Oracle BI&W Update, Martin Cooper, Oracle
The SIG committee is up for re-election again, and both Andy Johnson and myself are standing again. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this time, as I'm off to Open World (hopefully), but it sounds like an excellent line-up and it's a shame I'm having to miss it. As usual, the slides will be up on the UKOUG website just after the event if you want to download them (UKOUG membership required).
